I built Whapture because I needed it. I run Google Ads for clinics and service businesses across APAC, and for years our bids were getting trained on the wrong signal — WhatsApp button clicks.

Does Whapture work for non-Google-Ads traffic too?

Yes. The widget captures attribution from every channel: GCLID for Google Ads, UTMs for Facebook, LinkedIn, email, and affiliates, plus referrer URL for organic and direct. You see exactly where every lead came from. The 3-stage offline conversion sync currently feeds Google Ads — but the lead-capture and reporting value applies to all channels.

Does this work outside APAC?

Yes. We started in APAC because that’s where WhatsApp is the default communication channel, but Whapture works anywhere people use WhatsApp or phone to inquire — Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, India.

Do I need to change my website?

No. The widget deploys via Google Tag Manager. One Custom HTML tag, fire on All Pages, done. Your existing WhatsApp and tel: links keep working — Whapture just hooks into the click to capture details before opening WhatsApp.

Will the form annoy my users?

It’s a single fast modal that captures name + phone, then hands off to WhatsApp with the user’s number ready. APAC users are familiar with this flow — most businesses already ask for name/phone before WhatsApp. It typically increases qualified-lead rate because it filters out tire-kickers who won’t enter their info.

What about iOS WhatsApp users?

Same flow. The form opens, captures details, then triggers the native WhatsApp link. Works identically on iOS, Android, and desktop.

How does the Google Ads sync actually work?

You connect your Google Ads account once — sign in with Google, enter your customer ID, done. Whapture creates three conversion actions (Lead, Qualified, Closed Deal) in your account automatically. From then on, every time your team marks a lead, the conversion is pushed to Google Ads in real time. A CSV import option also exists as a fallback.

Can I customize the form?

Is my client data secure?
